Jane stood in the break room, shouting, “I am powerful! I am unstoppable!” as she did jumping jacks. Her coworker, Mark, walked in. “What’s with the circus act?” he asked. “Affirmations!” she said, grinning. “Today, I conquer the world!” She marched into the meeting, yelled, “I am brilliant!” and accidentally knocked over a stack of papers. The team stared. “Uh… I mean, I am… adaptable!” she said, laughing. The boss smiled. “That’s the spirit!” Later, she found a promotion note. “Positive vibes only!” she cheered, doing a handstand.
