Gary stood in front of his mirror, arms raised. “I am unstoppable!” he declared. His cat, Muffin, blinked. Gary spun around, tripped over a rug, and face-planted into a bowl of cereal. “I am resilient!” he yelled, mouth full of milk. Muffin hissed. The next day, Gary wore a helmet to work. “I am brave!” he shouted as he walked into a door. His coworker, Linda, snorted. “You’re a menace,” she said. Gary grinned. “I am a menace with a positive outlook!” The office erupted in laughter. Linda handed him a bandage. “Here. For your ego.”
